YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a call, on Friday at 2:23am.

Accordingly, the floor of a house in capital city Yerevan had collapsed and fallen to the basement, there were no affected, but rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad, and an operative team from the MES National Center for Crisis Management were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that the reinforced concrete floor of the kitchen and living room of the two-story house—which was built in the 1960s—had collapsed, there were no affected, but there was a risk of further collapse.

Rescuers evacuated the residents (8 minors and 6 adults) of the house.
