Negotiations between the German and the US authorities give a reason to imply that it is possible to initiate a close cooperation between the two countries to develop a policy regarding Russia, reports the Voice of America.

The source added, that Berlin is determined to increase defense spending and provide convincing arguments on that matter to the US President. Germany’s  Chancellor and the US President will meet in Washington next week.
