YEREVAN. - The incident in Armenia’s Jrarat village is unacceptable, Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan said at the meeting with voters in Yerevan’s Nor Nork administrative district.
In his words, a man with a weapon is a threat for everyone. “Thus, diligent work in this direction is required from us as leaders” Karapetyan said.
According to the preliminary information, a quarrel sparked in Jrarat village of Armavir province at about 4:00 pm on Sunday, which grew into a scuffle during which the brother of Deputy Chief of Armenian Police Levon Yeranosyan, Lernik Yeranosyan, and Mikayel Baboyan suffered bodily injuries. The investigation established that during the same scuffle Lernik Yeranosyan shot in the air from his gun.
