Tehran hosted regular consultations aimed at finalizing agreement on temporarily free trade between Iran and members of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Eurasion Union and Eurasian Economic Commission.
The Armenian delegation was headed by deputy minister of economic development Hovhannes Azizyan. The sides discussed the text of a draft agreement and the list of goods that will be imported and exported with preferences.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Armenian official met with the deputy minister of industry and trade Modjtaba Hosrotadji and agriculture minister Ali Akbar Mehrfard.
The Armenian side offered to set up a joint Armenian-Iranian company dealing with export and import. The Iranian side welcomed the idea and suggested to discuss possible mechanisms of creating a joint company.
