YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Friday received Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ebrahim Rahimpour.

They reflected on the implementation of the agreements that were reached during the Iranian president’s visit to Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, Nalbandian and Rahimpour discussed matters that are on the bilateral agenda of the two countries, including Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)-Iran cooperation. To note, the EAEU comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, the interlocutors noted with delight the large number of Iranian tourists that are currently in Armenia to spend their Nowruz (New Year) holidays.   

Furthermore, they reflected on the regular consultations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Iran.

Additionally, Edward Nalbandian and Ebrahim Rahimpour exchanged views on urgent regional and international issues.
