YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, on Friday received the heads of the information technology (IT) sector in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries.   

This EAEU delegation is in Armenia to participate in a regular workshop.

The PM expressed a conviction that these guests’ attendance to this event will give new impetus to the ongoing cooperation in the IT sector.

“We jointly have created a club with good potential, and we underscore the implementation of the agreed policy in the IT and digitization sector within the framework of the EAEU,” added Karapetyan.

The guests, for their part, noted that such workshops are a good platform for discussing matters pertaining to this sector.
