YEREVAN. - The most vulnerable moment during the elections is when the ballot boxes are taken from polling stations to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC): the most serious violations can take place then, Armenian Canadian film director Atom Egoyan, who has arrived in Armenia to conduct observation mission during the parliamentary elections, told journalists Friday. 

In his words, the Diaspora observers will be moving around between polling stations on the election day, but they are unlikely to be on the trucks, which will take the ballot boxes to the CEC. The film director implored the Armenian journalists to be very attentive at that moment to notice all the possible violations.

As he noted in the University of South California, they can assume that these elections will be tempered. “We have already seen proof of vote rigging and electoral corruption,” Egoyan said, referring to the offered bribes and scandalous story involving school and kindergarten principals, who drew up lists in favor of the Republican Party of Armenia.
