On November 17, Azerbaijan and Iran signed a memorandum on energy and transport cooperation, AzerTAj state agency reported.  

After a meeting with the participation of the delegations, the memorandum was signed by the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran, Elmar Mammadyarov and Manouchehr Mottaki.

As NEWS.am reported previously, On November 17, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived on an official visit to Azerbaijan.  Today, he met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
