YEREVAN. – In 2017, the government of Armenia will allocate 67.8 million drams (about US$139,840) to the individual pensions of the champion athletes of the country.
The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the government.
Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Hrachya Rostomyan, announced that these pensions are paid to Armenia’s athletes who have achieved outstanding results in the Olympic Games as well as in world and European championships.
