Six Arab airlines suspended flights to Qatar after six countries - Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen and Libya - severed ties with Qatar Monday for allegedly embracing several terrorist groups and its ties with Iran, RIA Novosti reported.
Flights to Qatar's capital of Doha were canceled by Emirates and Etihad Airways (UAE), Saudia (Saudi Arabia), Gulf Air (Bahrain) and Egypt Air (Egypt).
As Reuters noted, Abu Dhabi's state-owned Etihad Airways will also suspend all flights to and from Doha.
At the moment, it is possible to get to Qatar from Russia by Qatar Airways' direct flights. In addition, Lufthansa, British Airways, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus airlines also fly to Qatar.
It also became clear that Qatar's national airline Qatar Airways intends to suspend all flights to Saudi Arabia.
