YEREVAN. – The embassy of Armenia in Tehran maintains regular contact with Iranian authorities.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, Tigran Balayan, told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He added that as of 2pm Armenia Time, the embassy received no petitions from Armenian citizens in Iran.
Gunmen and suicide bombers on Wednesday carried out attacks on Iran’s parliament and the tomb of revolutionary founder Ruhollah Khomeini in capital city Tehran, killing seven people and injuring over 30 others.
