US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will visit Turkey in July, Anadolu reports.

Within the framework of his visit, Tillerson will attend the 22nd World Petroleum Congress (WPC), which will be held on July 9-13.

On the sidelines of the forum, Tillerson, who used to head Exxon Mobil, will receive the WPC Dewhurst Award. He will thus become the tenth man in the history of WPC to receive that award.

Heads of leading economic companies such as Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Total, Saudi Aramco and SOCAR, as well as representatives of over 50 countries of the world, will attend the WPC.
