YEREVAN. – A 57-year-old man, whose body was found in the basement of Surb Grigor Lusavorich medical center in Yerevan on Wednesday, had been receiving inpatient treatment in the same center, Medical Center's deputy director Gagik Manukyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
According to him, the man was admitted to the intensive care unit a day before the incident.
“He was admitted with respiratory and heart disease. The man was in the intensive care unit, we saw in the morning that he was not in bed, and started searching him. It turned out that the patient had an acute heart attack, in addition, he had an affected lung. Even if he remained in the ward, he would have died in bed,” the deputy director of the medical center said.
