YEREVAN. – A 51-year-old man, who was found dead Thursday in Yerevan, was allegedly killed by his daughter-in-law, Shamshyan.com reported.

According to a source, the father-in-law tried to rape the 21-year-old woman. For self-defense, the young woman hit him with an iron which caused the death of the man. 

The half-naked body of the man was found in his home, on the bed.

Traces of violence were found on the man’s body, the Investigative Committee of Armenia press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A criminal case was opened on a murder charge.
