US President Donald Trump on Wednesday accepted the invitation of his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Reuters reports, citing the statement issued by the Élysée Palace.

Earlier, Macron invited Trump to visit Paris in order to attend the annual parade on the occasion of the Bastille Day marked on July 14.

''Within the framework of the 100th anniversary since the joining of the US to WWI, President of the country Donald Trump accepted the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron to visit the Bastille Day Parade on July 14,'' the statement reads.
