Turkey should keep its hands away from the Karabakh issue.

Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly (NA), Spokesperson for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Eduard Sharmazanov, told the aforementioned to journalists after the RPA Supreme Body session on Thursday, referring to the statement of Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on bringing out the Armenian forces out of Karabakh.

According to Sharmazanov, Çavuşoğlu represents a country, which denies the Armenian Genocide and in whose parliament the deputies representing the ethnic minorities are subjected to battery as it happened to Armenian writer and politician Krikor Zohrab 100 years ago.

“Turkey should keep its hands away from the Karabakh issue. Turkey has nothing to do here and that country must one day—whether they want it or not— recognize the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh as an international subject, since the world is moving by the victorious path of the right of self-determination. And if it is speaking about occupation, it should bring out as soon as possible its troops from occupied Cyprus, which is, by the way, an EU member state,” he said.
