Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made a statement following his talk with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, who is visiting Ankara.

Erdoğan said Israeli-Palestinian reconciliation is possible if the parties return to the boundaries of 1967, according to Cumhuriyet (Republic) daily of Turkey.

“This will be good also for Israel,” added the Turkish president. “Israel needs to stop intrusive initiatives.”
