Turkey always supported Azerbaijan and signing of military agreement will contribute to further deepening of bilateral ties, military expert Artsrun Hovhanisyan told the journalists today.

According to him, Turkey’s assistance to Azerbaijan was tangible even during the Karabakh war. “Now Armenia should be on alert as such agreement was signed,” he added.

Commenting on recent acts of sabotage by the Azerbaijani side, the expert stressed that country’s “hysterical and aggressive” actions do not testify to success in military actions. “Our media outlets cover only Azerbaijan’s successful provocative actions, while unsuccessful ones are not mentioned. The actions of the Armenian soldiers are not fully covered by media as well, for instance the recent incident when two 18-year-old Armenians managed to neutralize opponent’s task force,” he said.
