This year has seen economic growth after last year of crisis, Vahe Hakobyan, the owner of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine and member of the Republic Party of Armenia (RPA), told NEWS.am.

During the crisis the Government mobilized all its reserves and distributed it among individual sectors to properly use the economic potential. “I think the Government’s reaction was right, and its strategy produced results this year. Armenia has entered the year 2011 with greater confidence and mobilized resources,” he said.

Hakobyan forecasts steady economic growth in economic sectors next year. “I am also sure that favorable conditions for small and medium businesses will be created in strategic and backbone sectors. It will ensure economic progress provided some amendments are made to Armenian laws,” Hakobyan said.  (4 Jan, 16:13)
