According to him, the project aims at raising awareness of Azerbaijani public and experts to clearly realize potential military threats from the neighbors.

The union works with the Center for Military-analytical studies, which received a grant of “Open Society” Institute to conduct a research on “The military doctrines of the regional states: stability or possible confrontation.”

The results of research will be discussed in Baku with representatives of six countries, presumably Ambassadors and Plenipotentiaries of Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey and Iran.

The experts may also visit these countries and hold interviews with military experts. An international conference on military doctrines of the Caucasian countries may be organized within the framework of the project.
