Visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to Iraq scheduled for the next week was canceled.
The reason is probably that Davutoglu will accompany President Abdullah Gul during his trip to Yemen or Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Kuwait, Anadolu agency reported referring to diplomatic sources.
Davutoglu’s visit to Iraq was aimed at preparation to the meeting of high level Strategic Cooperation Council in Baghdad. President Gul will also participate in the meeting planned to be held in the next several months.
