“Aghet: A Genocide” documentary by German filmmaker Eric Friedler, depicting Armenian Genocide from 1915 to 1923, is nominated for Adolf Grimme Award 2011 along with 11 films.
The Adolf Grimme Award is a German television award. The names of the winners will be clear on March 16 and the awards will be presented on April 1.
The film was also awarded with the Armint T. Wegner Humanitarian Award in Los Angeles.
