YEREVAN. – The Armenian government decided on Thursday to postpone the celebrations of Yerevan 2800th Anniversary for a month.

According to the government, the second Saturday of October is celebrated as Yerevan day, thus, this year the holiday will be held on October 13.

Taking into account, that this year, Yerevan will host the Francophonie summit from October 7 to 12, the Government decided to hold the Yerevan 2800th Anniversary on October 20, 21 instead of September 29, 30.
