Iran and Iraq have agreed to eliminate the US dollar from trade transactions between the two countries.

Yahya Ale-Eshagh, Chairman of Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce, announced that the US dollar has been removed from the list of currencies used by Iran and Iraq in their trade transactions, reported Mehr News Agency.

In his words, now the two countries are using the Iranian rial, euro, and Iraqi dinar for financial transactions between them.
