YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger.

PM Pashinyan attached importance to cooperation with OSCE on European and regional security as well as in the areas of mutual interest.

The interlocutors highlighted high-level cooperation and discussed the prospects of deepening the interaction.

PM touched upon the latest domestic political events, presenting the reforms targeted at the establishment of the rule of law, fight against corruption and holding snap parliamentary elections. Nikol Pashinyan stressed that free, transparent and democratic elections are a priority for the government, and the Cabinet attaches importance to the assistance of the international partners, including technical and expert assistance provided by the OSCE.

Thomas Greminger welcomed the ongoing processes in Armenia and expressed readiness to provide assistance for the reforms undertaken by the government.

The sides discussed the Karabakh peace process. Armenian PM attached importance to the active efforts of OSCE and the international community to make our region safer and underlined that Armenia is committed to exclusively peaceful settlement of the Karabkha conflict within the OSCE Minsk Group
