Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met in Munich on the sidelines of 47th security conference. The officials held an in-depth discussion regarding the Karabakh conflict. Mammadyarov informed Secretary Clinton of Azerbaijan’s stance on the conflict. Hillary Clinton noted it is the right time for progress in the peace process, Trend News reported. She also expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for their support in anti-terrorist operations in Afghanistan. The sides exchanged views on bilateral and regional relations, energy issues and situation in the Middle East. Secretary Clinton met with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday.
