YEREVAN. – Any person regardless of his position, name has to face punishment to the fullest extent of the law if he has connection with the bloody March 1  events, leader of Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan said.

His remark came to a question what precautionary measure has to be chosen against high ranking officials who might have connection with the March 1 events in Yerevan.

“It is an inexcusable act. Those who lifted hand against someone or opened fire on the innocent demonstrators, must face the toughest punishment,” Tsarukyan said.
