In Artsakh, the minister met with the command staff, during which they discussed the ensuring of cooperation between and combat-readiness of the armed forces of the two countries.

As per Hovhannisyan, Tonoyan noted that the political leadership of Armenia gives preference to the Karabakh conflict’s pacific resolution by way of negotiations.

In addition, the minister urged the command staff to maintain the ceasefire that was achieved during the negotiation process.
