Leader of the Turkish oppositional party voices strong criticism over the arrest of 163 former and present servicemen involved in Sledgehammer case.

Kemal Kilicdaroglu, head of the Republican People’s Party, noted no public statement has been made on the issue, Turkish Beyazgazete newspaper reported. He stressed palatalizing of judicial system is the major obstacle in Turkey recalling Premier Erdogan’s words: “I am a prosecutor in this case.”

All the doors of a courtroom were closed and suspects arrested during Sledgehammer trial. The court made a decision on the arrest of 163 former and present top militaries.
