The Aparazh Mining Company plans to construct an emulsion explosive producing plant in Armenia. The company plans to invest a total of U.S. $1.2 million in the project and create 35 jobs.

The plant will mainly operate Turkish equipment, which is a notable feature.

The company has imported all the necessary materials and plans to complete the construction by July 1, 2011.
The company applied to the Armenian Government for VAT deferral. At its Feb 17 sitting the Government is to pass a decision.
