The visit of Turkish Chief of General Staff Isik Kosaner to Baku was canceled, 1news.az reports referring to diplomatic sources. The visit was canceled at the request of the Turkish side.
“No information is available on a new date of the visit,” the sources said.
The visit was probably canceled due to recent arrests of Turkish military charged with plotting to bring down the government of the Islamically rooted Justice and Development Party.
