The four national minority representatives will be part of the My Step bloc in the new National Assembly (NA) of Armenia. This is due to the fact that, with its number of MPs, this political force is ahead of its contenders by a considerable difference.

Accordingly, Civil Contract Party member Rustam Bakoyan will represent the Yazidi community in the Armenian parliament, Arsen Mikhaylov will represent the Assyrian community, non-party affiliate Knyaz Hasanov—the Kurdish community, and Aleksey Sanidkov—the Russian community.

Hasanov and Mikhaylov were in the previous NA, too, but, as part of the parliamentary faction of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia.

According to the election law of Armenia, one parliament seat, each, is allocated to the representatives of the four largest national minorities in the country.
