STEPANAKERT. – Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army serviceman Rafik Vahanyan (born in 1999) sustained a gunshot wound, on Sunday at around 3:50pm, at the protection area of a military unit of the defense army.

The Artsakh Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the soldier was immediately taken to a military hospital, and that he is in moderate condition.

An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident.
