Iranian navy ships have demonstratively launched missiles nearby an American aircraft carrier which on Friday entered the Persian Gulf, American reporters on board the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier informed, Interfax reported.

A group of US naval ships, led by the USS John C. Stennis nuclear-powered supercarrier, have entered the Gulf.

This aircraft carrier is expected to be deployed in the Middle East for two months, during which, however, it will cruise solely in the Gulf region.
