YEREVAN. – Attorneys for the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, are preparing to submit a third complaint to the ECHR, lawyer Aram Orbelyan told reporters on Wednesday.

He did not rule out that the rationale provided for in Article 18 of the European Convention would be included in the complaint.

Also, the defense is preparing to include definitions of the term “political prisoner”, used by a number of international agencies.

According to lawyer, the Armenian courts do not consider Kocharyan to be a political prisoner.

He noted that the defense is studying the position of foreign lawyers and law firms, including Russian and French specialists.
