MP from Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Bagrat Asatryan offered to set up a special commission of historians at Armenian Public Council to prevent external attempts to falsify Armenia’s history.

According to the MP, scholars and historians both from Armenia and abroad should be included in the commission. “The commission’s objective must be preventing attempts to present falsified history of the Armenian nation to the international community. The commission should also prevent attempts of “privatization” of Armenian monuments by other nations,” Bagratyan stressed.
