We didn't talk about any preconditions during the talks between Premier of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. This is what Spokesman of Armenia’s Premier Vladimir Karapetyan told NEWS.am as he responded to the question on what precondition was stated in the press release issued by the EU in regard to the meeting of Pashinyan and Mogherini.

“I can’t comment on any preconditions. Both Armenia and the European Union support the format of co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group. We didn’t talk about any preconditions during the talks,” he stated.

On 4 March, the meeting of Armenia’s Premier and Federica Mogherini was held within the framework of Nikol Pashinyan’s working visit to Brussels. According to the European Union’s press release, the parties discussed issues related to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, taking into consideration the latest contacts between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Mogherini said “she supports complete involvement of Nikol Pashinyan in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict without preconditions”.
