The speaker of the Artsakh National Assembly, Ashot Ghulyan met with the MPs of  House of Representatives of the Netherlands.  The meeting was organized with the support of Mato Hakhverdyan, Chairman of the Federation of Dutch-Armenian Organizations.

Ashot Ghulyan stressed that the Artsakh parliament established partnerships with a number of European countries and inter-parliamentary organizations in recent years and meets with representatives of the Dutch legislative body for the first time.

The speaker of the Artsakh National Assembly expressed hope that the contacts will continue, which will give the Dutch parliamentarians the opportunity to thoroughly get acquainted with the realities of Artsakh and will serve as the basis for the institutionalization of relations.

Ashot Ghulyan informed about the political and legal foundations of the struggle of Artsakh for freedom and self-determination, about the peculiarities of the state construction of Artsakh.

At the end of the meeting, the speaker of the Artsakh parliament touched upon the current state and prospects for the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, the economic development of Artsakh and a number of other topics.
