On 8 March at 14:10, the 911 service received an alarm about an anti-tank mine found in the yard of one of the houses located on Hambardzumyan Street in the city of Stepanavan of Lori Province and the need for rescuers’ help, reports the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, according to NEWS.am.

A firefighting-rescue detachment of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations left for the scene of the incident.

It turned out that the rescuers found a РКГ-3ЕМ grenade, which the engineering service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia defused by exploding.

Rescuers insulated the territory.
