YEREVAN. – A delegation from Russia, and led by Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian military’s Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops, is in capital city Yerevan, from Sunday to Wednesday, on a working visit.
The delegation is in Armenia to take part in bilateral discussions, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed.
Onik Gasparyan, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, on Monday received Kirillov.
They discussed radiation, chemical and biological safety, as well as the current state of respective Armenian-Russian cooperation and the prospects for joint activities.
