On 27 March, Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan lectured during the operative meeting of the administration of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense.

The deputy minister talked about the importance of and need for civic oversight over the armed forces and touched upon the ways of and procedures for oversight. Balayan emphasized the positive impact that civic oversight has on the organizing of military service and on further increase of effectiveness of management in the defense sector.
