February 27 to March 5 Azerbaijan committed over 240 ceasefire violations on the contact line between the Armenian and Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces. The Azeri side made over 1,200 shots, with the most intense shooting registered on March 3 and 4.

The press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Azeri side fired at the Armenian positions in the south-east, central and north-east directions.

The NKR army retaliated and ensured defense along the line of contact.

Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier that at 2:30 p.m., local time, March 4, the Azeri side violated the ceasefire, which claimed the life of the Armenian soldier Grigor Shakanyan (born in 1991).

Another Armenian soldier was injured as a result of March 4 violation.
