Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mailyan has received My Step faction MPs of the Armenian National Assembly.

Ruben Rubinyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Hovhannes Igityan, Deputy Chair, Tatevik Hayrapetyan, Commissioner,  as well as Armen Pambukhchyan, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Eurasian Integration, Artsakh MFA’s press service reported.

Masis Mailyan welcomed the deputies in Artsakh and highlighted the importance in order to exchange views on cooperation in foreign policy.

The Foreign Minister presented the priorities of Artsakh’s foreign policy to the deputies and touched upon the achievements recorded in the process of international recognition of Artsakh and decentralized cooperation, as well as in the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict.

Masis Mayilyan highlighted the importance of the steps taken towards restoring the full-fledged format of talks with the full participation of Artsakh. He reaffirmed the readiness of the authorities of the republic for an exclusively peaceful settlement of the Artsakh conflict, de jure shifting to itself a part of the responsibility for ensuring regional stability and peace.

Masis Mailyan highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy in sharing objective information about Artsakh, protecting Artsakh’s interests at various venues, as well as ensuring Artsakh’s involvement in international processes.

The Foreign Minister reaffirmed the readiness of the Artsakh authorities to cooperate with international structures aimed at strengthening democratic traditions in the country and implementing development programs in various fields.
