The National Security Service of Armenia has instituted a criminal case on the alleged misuse by one of the close relatives of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. This is what Head of the Department of Public Relations of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia Arevik Khachatryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am on 5 April.
The press center of the National Security Service told Armenian News-NEWS.am that it would provide information later.
Last evening, Nikol Pashinyan posted a Facebook status, stating that a criminal case has been instituted in relation to a case of alleged misuse by one of his close relatives. “There is no doubt that the case will be fully investigated and the guilty will be subjected to liability provided for by law. This is new Armenia, and any close relative of the Prime Minister can’t be above the law or be privileged,” Pashinyan stated, without going into details on who the close relative was.
