On 8 April, within the scope of the activities for the development of a new national security strategy, Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan had a meeting with the expert community.

As the news service of the Office of the Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia told Armenian News-NEWS.am, among the attendees were Ashot Movsisyan, Ara Papyan, Araks Pashayan, Leonid Nersisyan, Hrant Ter-Abrahamyan, Joni Melikyan, Ruben Mehrabyan, Ruben Safrastyan and Vardan Atoyan.

During the meeting, the Secretary of the National Security Council presented the completed activities and the notions on the content of the to-be-developed strategy and particularly emphasized the importance of the involvement of the expert community in this process.

This was followed by a substantial discussion on detection of threats to national security, systemic solutions and the development of a new concept paper on national security.
