Every conflict needs to be viewed in terms of its essence and content, and to make judgements about any conflict without understanding its origin, reasons, essence and peculiarities means to play with human lives and destinies. This is what Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated in his speech at the PACE.

“This is the reason why Armenia believes that the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group should exclusively deal with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict along with the three parties to the conflict because only in this format do they know not only about the current state of affairs, but also the whole history and the subtleties of the negotiations starting from day one.

It is the format of the OSCE Minsk Group that was established to form a platform for dialogue of all the parties to the conflict, including Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan and Armenia. Today, we are taking measures to restore the dialogue between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the format of the co-chairmanship,” Pashinyan emphasized.
