Even when I was a member of the political opposition, I declared that I don’t accept the fact that there have to be pro-Russia, pro-European or pro-American political forces and figures in Armenia or in any country, for that matter. This is what Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated as he responded to questions at the PACE on 11 April.
“I consider myself a pro-Armenia figure, and I believe Frenchmen need to be pro-France, the Russians — pro-Russia and the Ukrainians — pro-Ukraine. Being pro-Armenia means that Armenia needs to build its constructive relations with all of its international partners and try to regulate relations with all of its neighbors,” he said.
