YEREVAN. – The National Assembly on Monday elected—by a closed and secret ballot—Gegham Gevorgyan as Chairman of State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia.
A total of 95 MPs voted for, whereas 26 deputies—against Gevorgyan’s respective candidacy.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had nominated him to this post.
Until now, Gegham Gevorgyan was serving as Acting Minister of Agriculture.
