Vahan Hovhannisyan, a Bureau member, Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) regrets the fact that the investigation into the incident in front of the Armenia Government on March 3 has been completed so soon.

He hopes that Heritage party members will yet voice their opinions. As regards the boycott of the Parliament`s activities by the Heritage faction, Hovhannisyan said that boycotting is not yet standard practice in Armenia. "We witnessed influential political forces boycotting the Parliament. However, they became political outsiders and got dissolved. So boycotting is not the best method," Hovhannisyan said. During the last four-day session the ARF-D felt the Heritage faction`s absence. "Had they participated in the sittings, we would have been able to cooperate with them in dealing with at least two most important issues. During its last four-day session the Parliament discussed gas supply and appointed new Ombudsman. However, it is up to each force to choose its strategy. If Heritage decides to return to Parliament, we are ready to cooperate with them in many issues," Hovhannisyan said.

Armenian News-NEWS.am reminds readers that the Heritage Party boycotted the last two four-day sessions of Parliament. The party did not announce its further steps. On March 3, Heritage faction members had a clash with law-enforcers. The ARF-D condemned the incident.
