On March 16, discussions on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution were held at Swiss Parliament on the initiative of Armenia-Switzerland parliamentary friendship group.

Chairman of Armenia-Switzerland parliamentary friendship group Dominique de Buman opened the discussion and stressed during their visit to Armenia in 2008, the group visited Karabakh. He stressed the discussions aimed at raising public awareness of Swiss political circles of one of Armenia’s vital problems, particularly Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its geopolitical consequences, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the discussions experts Tessa Hoffman, Gerard Gergeryan, Otto Luchterhandt and Julien Zarafyan made reports. Brochure “Nagorno Karabakh: human rights, international law and geopolitical aspects” and “Destruction of Julfa and destruction of Armenian cultural heritage of Nakhchivan” were handed to the participants of the discussion.
